Training

We have one overriding strategy that drives our training : students learn more when they are having fun and are deeply involved in doing what they are learning.

Our classes are heavily hands on, and the student exercises in them directly mirror what will be done in everyday work. Our students leave with hands-on experience in the subjects. There is a lot of individual time spent with each student by the instructors in order to make sure they not only can do the exercises in the course lessons, but that they understand how to apply the principles behind what they are learning. We provide them a detailed manual based on the course material and, in most classes, a CD of background and reference material to pursue later if they wish to do so. Our instructors offer their many years of experience to teach the student what tools and techniques work, and how to do what’s needed within time and budget constraints in today’s policing environment.
